The Tote Bag
You may ask, “why design a tote bag”?
There are so many in the world.
Simply put I needed one and I thought it might be an easy project to start with. Easy was definitely not what it was. However, it was very fun and I do believe I learnt a thing or two about sewing and pattern making.
The process consisted of mood boarding and listing what I needed in the bag. The pattern drawing and testing were where a cheap fabric was used.
Later a “final version” was made, however, this consisted allot of experimentation and pattern changes as the heavy-weight nature of the fabric required different techniques.
Ultimately I am very happy however there are definite changes to be added next time around.
